I am sure we have all had the question, "What is the purpose of studying?" I still often wonder, "Where is this useful?

As this article shows, there seems to be a decline in the desire to learn.

The survey has been conducted since 2015, tracking a total of 21,000 pairs of identical students and their parents in elementary, middle, and high schools across the country.

In the 2009 survey, 54.3% of the students responded that they were "not motivated to study," an increase of 9.2 percentage points from the 19-year survey. The percentage of elementary school students (grades 4-6) was 43.1% (up 10.1 points from 19), junior high school students 58.6% (up 10.9 points), and high school students 61.3% (up 6.7 points). The percentage of high school students was 61.3% (up 6.7 points from the previous year).

The percentage of children whose motivation to study had declined (25.8%) exceeded that of children whose motivation had improved (11.2%) in the three years to 2009. The children who responded that they "no longer know how to study well" and "no longer enjoy classes" showed a tendency toward a decline in motivation to learn.

It is true that studying may become less enjoyable when forced, but isn't the process of working on it important?

For example, when a test is due in two weeks, some people want to get a high score! or "Avoid getting a red mark for now! For example, when a student has a test in two weeks, he or she may want to get a high score, or avoid a red mark for the time being!

Indeed, the knowledge one studies are not useful in most occupations in the future, but the ability to think backward and in the sequence is an important skill even as an adult, and it can be fatal if one cannot think sky-high.

Of course, the results of your studies are important, but I believe that the process will play a major role for you in the future.
