English edition

This time we would like to introduce a rather unusual book.

This distinctive cover is definitely noticeable when you go to a bookstore nowadays.

It makes you want to pick it up at least once. And I fell into the trap.

The book is

Synopsis.

There was a king who loved books. The king was so old that he could hardly see. The king called two men to his castle and said, "I love books.
I love books. I have read many books. I have read most of them. But my eyesight has deteriorated, and I can no longer read. But I love books. That's why I want to hear about books.
I want you to go around the world and find someone who knows about a "rare book" and ask him or her to tell me about it.
Then tell me the story of the book.

The two men went on a journey, brought back many stories of books, and told them to the king night after night.

This book is somewhere between a novel and a picture book.

They range in length from short stories to short novels.

The fact that they don't tell everyone's story is a little frustrating, but I think it also means that there are as many interpretations as there are readers, and some of them will resonate with you.

What is the purpose of reading a book?

I don't have a clear answer to this question, but it may happen that a line on a page somewhere in the book will be read by someone else. might happen.

There are some phrases in this book that stuck with me.

"There are as many books as there are people, and as many people as there are books."

"There are as many books as there are people to support, and as many people as there are books to deliver."

That's what I felt.

It only took me about an hour to finish the book, so I highly recommend it, even if you're not very good at it!
