恐らく、SFのような危機がいっぱいあって人がいっぱいいてという風なのを思い浮かべるかもしれませんが、実際は意外とコンパクトなのかもしれません.....。

去年の夏以降、新たなロケットを打ち上げていないインターステラ社。この１年間、人、カネもすべて注ぎ込んで進めているのが、次世代の大型ロケット「ＺＥＲＯ（ゼロ）」の開発です。
「ＺＥＲＯ」はこれまで、インターステラ社が手がけてきたロケット「ＭＯＭＯ（モモ）」の2.5倍の大きさで全長が25メートル。
重さ150キロの人工衛星を宇宙に運ぶことができ、完成すれば「商業化」、つまり本格的にカネを稼ぐロケットになると期待されています。そんなインターステラ社の成長に合わせて、大樹町と民間会社「スペースコタン」が運営する発射場も、20年後には110兆円まで膨らむ世界の宇宙市場を取り込む考えです。
宇宙旅行は夢があるなぁと思う一方、他の交通機器に比べて不安定な部分があり、お金に余裕があっても怖いなぁというのが正直な感想です。
しかし、ここからヒトではなく衛星を打ち上げたりして民間企業の飛躍につながるのであれば日本のこれからの新たな1手となりうるのかもしれません。
あるいは新しい地方の活用方法としても今後浮上してくるかもしれません。

While I think space travel is a dream, I have to admit that it is more unstable than other transportation devices, and I am afraid of it even if I can afford it.
However, if private companies can make a leap forward by launching satellites instead of humans from here, it could be a new move for Japan in the future.
It may also emerge as a new way to utilize rural areas.
