最近自分たち当たりの年代を”Z世代”と呼ばれることをよく耳にするのではないでしょうか？SNSは近年加速しとどまるところを見せませんが、中でもYouTubeやTikTokは大きく伸び市場規模も莫大なものになっています。

そんな中でもはやりの先駆けとなった”地球グミ”。これが伸びたわけとは....?

インパクトのあるビジュアルと食感に関心を持つZ世代が多かったことが、大流行した理由の1つとして考えられます。ASMR動画で食感に興味を持ったり、中の真っ赤なソースを見て、「私も買ってみたい！」「食べてみたい！」と思う人が増えたようです。

また動画配信サービスのTikTokでは、「口で地球グミのパッケージを割る」動画がバズり、それを真似したいと思ったZ世代が多かったことも、地球グミが流行するきっかけとなったようです。

一方で韓国のSNSで流行し始めた当初は、地球グミは日本にはまだ輸入されておらず、希少性が高かったこともさらなる人気を呼びました。輸入されてからも販売数が少なかったため、希少性が低くなることはなく、ますます人気が高まっていき、一時期は入手困難にさえなっていました。

YouTubeやTikTokでは、地球グミを食べる動画だけではなく、巨大地球グミや、地球グミを使ったロールアイスを作るなど、多くのアレンジ動画が投稿されています。このように、Z世代は既存の商品をアレンジして、オリジナル、かつユニークなものを作ることを得意としています。

流行には何かの法則があるのかもしれませんが、流行り廃りが激しく期限は長くても1ヶ月ほどと見ていいのではないでしょうか？

特にTikTokでは音源が1週間ほどで多くが変わっている現状です。

流行りに乗せるのは難しくないのかもしれませんが、その後1発屋で終わらず生き残れる割合はより一層厳しくなる一方ではないでしょうか？

国内外で注目を集めるユニークな福利厚生の話題です。

例えば、Googleは会社の中だけ生活が完結してしまいそうなほどすべてがそろっているようです。それも一種の罠！？と思ってしましますが....ｗ

今回は有名なゲーム会社「コロプラ」の福利厚生です。

■新しい福利厚生「無限バナナ」とは
　今回新たに導入した「無限バナナ」は、 従業員の健康配慮と感染対策の両立を考え、 オフィスに食べ放題のバナナコーナーを設置し、 出社した従業員がいつでも自由にバナナを食べることができる福利厚生。 栄養価の高いバナナを栄養補助として提供することで、 忙しくて食事が疎かになってしまう従業員の健康促進を図る。

　また、 使い切りの手袋を着用し、 バナナの房から一本ずつ切って皮を剥いて直接手を触れずに食べることができるので、 衛生的にも感染対策が可能。

■β運用を経て本格的に運用開始
　コロプラでは、 これまでも従業員の健康に配慮し、 おにぎりやフルーツなどをビュッフェ形式で提供を行ってきたが、 新型コロナウィルス感染拡大の影響を受け2020年2月に提供を休止した。

　一方で、 出社・在宅で働く環境が変わり、 さまざまな制度が見直される中で、 感染対策と健康促進を両立できる施策を検討した結果、 栄養補助として、 豊富な栄養と皮付きで直接手を触れずに食べることができるということから「バナナ」が候補として上がり、 今年2月に実施したオフィス移転を機に「無限バナナβ版」の運用を開始した。

 「無限バナナ」はその名の通り、 バナナを無限に食べることできるという意味から命名された。

　また「無限バナナ」を設置している場所にはバナナの木をイメージできる観葉植物を設置したり、 社内には食べ終わったバナナの皮を捨てる専用のごみ箱も設置するなど、 エンターテインメント企業として遊び心を忘れない工夫もされている。

確かにゲーム会社ならではのユニークさが溢れているように思います。

バナナは感染の懸念もありませんし、なおかつ栄養も取れるなんて一石二鳥。

就活が1年後に迫っているのもあり、このような福利厚生にも気を配りながら考えていきたいと思います。
