Broaden your horizons

The most important part of this book, "Going up the River and Crossing the Sea," is an option for thinking that is necessary in this day and age.

The same can be said about the issue of Russia and Ukraine, which is talked about every day.

Globally, Russia is absolutely evil and poor Ukraine. Don't forgive Russia!

But is this really so?

I think it is easy to understand if you think of it in terms of "river crossing and sea crossing.

In addition, geopolitical issues are also involved.

Let me give you a brief history.

Ukraine was part of the country during the Soviet era. However, with the collapse of the Soviet Union, neighboring countries became independent, and with that trend, Ukraine became independent.

Recently, Ukraine announced that it would shift from the Soviet side to the U.S. side.

Naturally, Russia wanted to avoid having the U.S. forces next door, so it tried its best to persuade them, but negotiations were difficult, and as a result, it was forced to use the final resort, the use of military force.

However, the situation has been criticized by the world because the battle was not fought only by the military at first, but also involved civilians.

Meanwhile, Ukraine has banned the deportation of men aged 18-60. This is a national mobilization order, but is it essential and justifiable for national security?

Isn't it necessary to start the habit of thinking about such issues from a young age from multiple perspectives, rather than from the dualism of good and evil?
