大学での活動で舞洲を使うことが多いのですが、2年後に迫った万博に伴い改修が始まります。そんな万博で早くも航空事業の選定が行われたようです。
2025年大阪・関西万博を運営する日本国際博覧会協会（万博協会）が、来場者の移動手段として活用する「空飛ぶクルマ」の運航事業者に、ANAホールディングス（HD）や日本航空（JAL）など４陣営を選定したことが分かった。
空飛ぶクルマの運航は、先進的な科学技術の展示や実証の場として企画した「未来社会ショーケース事業」の一環。万博会場の人工島・ 夢洲ゆめしま （大阪市此花区）と、関西空港、梅田や難波といった大阪市中心部、夢洲近くの湾岸部をそれぞれ結ぶ３ルートで有料運航することを目指している。

万博は昔から時代の最先端技術のお披露目の場として大いに注目されてきました。”万国博覧会”というブランディングの一種なのかなと考えています。
昔はインターネットもなく、そこに行かないとどれくらい進んでいるのかがわからなかったわけですが、この記事のように情報が次々と漏れてしまっていては少しずつ楽しみも減っていくのでは、、、？と考えたりもします。
ただ、多くの夢が詰まったイベントではあるのでぜひ行きたいなとは思います。

I often use Maishima for my activities at the university, and with the Expo coming up in two years, renovations will begin. It seems that an aviation project has already been selected for such an Expo.
The Japan Association for the International Exposition, which will manage the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo (Expo Association), has selected four camps, including ANA Holdings (HD) and Japan Airlines (JAL), as operators of "flying cars" to be used as a means of transportation for visitors.
The flying car operation is part of the "Future Society Showcase Project," which was planned as a venue for the exhibition and demonstration of advanced science and technology. The project aims to operate the flying cars on three routes connecting the man-made island of Yumeshima (Konohana-ku, Osaka City), where the Expo will be held, with Kansai International Airport, central Osaka City (Umeda and Namba), and the bay area near Yumeshima, each of which will be paid for.

The Expo has long been a much-heralded venue for the unveiling of the most advanced technology of the era." I wonder if this is a kind of branding of the "World Expo".
In the past, there was no Internet, and you had to go there to find out how advanced things were. I am not sure how long I will be able to stay there.
However, I would like to go to this event because it is filled with many dreams.
