セブン＆アイ・ホールディングス傘下のセブン―イレブン・ジャパン（東京）は１４日、店内に設置した宅配便ロッカーで処方箋が必要な医薬品を受け取れるサービスを川崎市内の１７店舗で同日始めたと発表した。新型コロナウイルス流行で高まる非対面のニーズに対応。受け取りは２４時間可能となっている。
コンビニですべてが完結してしまうようになってきていますよね。
だいたい、病院ができるときにはその近く、もしくは併設というパターンが地元では多く見受けられましたが、都会では土地やテナントが限られているため、そのようなケースばかりではないようですね。
また、忙しい人にとって24時間受け取り可能というのは安心ですね。
セキュリティの面や、誤配送があった場合のリスクマネジメントもしっかり行っていけば問題なくこの事業は拡大していくように思います。後は利用者のどれぐらいの需要があるのか今後に期待です。
